Newlyweds on the Mall

DC #6 - Newlyweds on the Mall.jpg

Sometimes I act like an artist, in that I have a specific image in mind and go out to create it. Sometimes I act more as a photojournalist, going out into the world to cover an event, or to go to a place, not knowing what to expect and making the most of what I encounter. I like to think I did both in this photo.

Background is the Lincoln Memorial.
