On the way to town there is a cemetary with this sight hanging over it. We drove past it many times without my noticing, and I havce to thank Jonathan for catching sight of it. We doubled back to take pictures, but I wasn't happy with my results, so went back a second time on my own.
The hard part about this picture was getting the statue to be white enough to stand out as much as it did in real life, while also retaining enough detail. I don't think I was totally successful in doing this, but I'm still happy with the result.
Processing was in altering the contrast and blurring the background slightly to make the statue stand out more, and highlight recovery to retain details.
