Sundown at Taishan

Another picture from China..

After hiking up a few thousand steps I reached the summit of Mount Tai just at sunset. This was the view. It's being posted on December 31st as a way of letting the year go. More on this tomorrow.

When I took the picture I used a wide angle to get much of the landscape. In editing the image a few months later, I decided that I preferrd focusing on the one mountain that dominates the scene, but cropping it so that there is still etail in the blues to be seen. It really was an amazing sight.
