
My father thinks that I have a food fetish. I really do enjoy cooking, and admittedly, I tend to take pictures of my better creations, and I took pictures of the turkey being cut. And when I was traveling I took pictures of lot of my meals and snacks.
This picture is of some snacks served in the Muslim Quarter of Xian. It is a rice flour pastry that is topped with all sorts of colorful jams and other things. This was my attempt at a food glam shot, emphasizing the colors of it, and with a large aperature used to make it gently blurred in the background. It tasted just as good as it looks.
